A no-cost, science-based health initiative for ALS patients in Saskatchewan
The Dr. Goodenowe ALS Challenge is a province-wide initiative to improve the health and quality of life for every Saskatchewan resident diagnosed with ALS – offering access to advanced health services, at no cost.
The Challenge is led by Dr. Dayan Goodenowe, founder of the Moose Jaw Vitality Project and an internationally recognized neuroscientist known for his pioneering work in advanced biochemistry, brain imaging, and restorative neurology.

You’ll be asked to sign a self-directed research agreement with Perpetual Health LLC. This outlines that you are voluntarily participating in a complementary health program and that you agree to provide periodic updates. You remain fully in control of your decisions throughout the program.
No. The event is an open opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from Dr. Goodenowe, but you can join the ALS Challenge waitlist now, even if you don’t attend. We encourage everyone to do both.
Yes, absolutely. Participation is voluntary and non-binding. If at any time you no longer wish to be involved, you can withdraw without penalty or consequence.
No. In fact, you are required to continue all medical care including regular visits with your neurologist or primary care provider. This program is designed to complement - not replace - conventional care.
Yes. With your permission, we can share data and communicate with your care providers. The goal is to build a collaborative health model that respects your choices and keeps all providers informed.
We use objective biochemical tests, self-reported outcomes, and ongoing monitoring tools to assess changes in neurological, physical, and biochemical function. You will receive regular check-ins and support to help interpret the results.
