Clinical Trials

At Dr. Goodenowe™ we are interested in the human condition and the development of practical and pragmatic solutions to elevate and maintain optimal health – indefinitely.

We engage in three types of clinical trial research:

Observational Trials

Designed to measure the deviations from health associated with reduced or optimized health and to discover the underlying causative mechanisms responsible for health deviation. These trials are typically large epidemiological or case-control studies conducted in collaboration with various academic centers worldwide that have large, retrospective, or ongoing patient populations under study.

Intervention Trials

Investigate the physiological, biochemical, and clinical effects of specific biochemical interventions. These trials are typically funded in whole or in part by Dr. Goodenowe™.

Adaptive Trials

Protocol- and outcome-based, not intervention-based. The intervention is “adapted” to the participant’s physiological, biochemical, or clinical status. The intervention strategy is adjusted during the trial based on observed changes in the participant’s physiological, biochemical, or clinical status. The Dr. Goodenowe Forever Trial is the master adaptive trial.

Multi-Site International Colon Cancer Study (COMPLETE)

Summary: This study used Dr. Goodenowe’s patented comprehensive ion cyclotron mass spectrometry technology to measure 1000’s of biomarkers in human blood serum. Changes in these biomarkers that were associated with changes in clinical (i.e. colon cancer) outcomes were then investigated to gain a better understanding of the causes and effects and diagnostic accuracy of biochemical changes in colon cancer. Patients were recruited from Japan and North America in three independent cohorts.

Health / Disease Indications: Colon Cancer

Principal Investigator(s): Dr. Goodenowe, Dr. Monden, Dr. Nomura

Reports and Publications:

The goal of the Forever Trial is to collect, analyze, and integrate the diversity of interventions and responses across the complexity of individual human conditions to build personalized intervention protocols for optimized health protocols that anyone and everyone can easily implement.
