Dr. Dayan Goodenowe joins Julie Gregory to discuss clinical strategies to treat dementia

Dr. Dayan Goodenowe joins Julie Gregory to announce the opening of his Restorative Health Centre in Canada. He likens his team’s process to that used for addiction patients to improve mental acuity, mobility, and mood. They intensively focus on nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, lifestyle management, and the importance of maintaining continuity with newly learned habits, providing supportive follow-up when clients return home.

He describes cognitive improvements that he has seen in his own family members who have used this approach. Additionally, Dr. Goodenowe shares insights from an N=1 experiment he conducted on himself, using high-dose plasmalogens and other supplements to reverse the effects of acute stress, resulting in remarkable volumetric gains, as evidenced by brain imaging.

The conversation further delves into the ProdromeScan, a blood test that guides treatment and assesses progress. Finally, they discuss the upcoming launch of the ApoE4.Info MOD4 Project, which will use the ProdromeScan to enable members to track their health progress over time.
